MOSCOW, Jan 22 (PRIME) -- Yemen hopes to receive 50 tonnes of Russian wheat, Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdel-Malek al-Mekhlafi said on Monday at a news conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“During our talks today I asked the Russian side to deliver 50 tonnes of wheat and minister Lavrov replied that the issue is currently discussed. And we expect a positive answer, as we know that Russia is committed to supporting the Yemeni people,” the minister said.
